Your first step is a personalized consultation with Dr. Iyengar. During this appointment, we’ll discuss your goals, review your medical history, perform a physical evaluation, and determine which procedure (or combination of procedures) is right for you. You’ll receive clear, honest recommendations and have time to ask any questions about the process, outcomes, or recovery.
Pre-Operation
Once your procedure is scheduled, you’ll receive detailed pre-op instructions to help you prepare for surgery. This may include lab work, medication guidelines, and lifestyle adjustments such as pausing certain supplements or avoiding smoking. Following these instructions closely is essential for a safe and smooth experience.
Post-Operation
After surgery, we’ll provide personalized recovery instructions based on your procedure. These include how to care for incisions, manage discomfort, limit activity, and recognize signs that may require medical attention. Our team will follow up with you closely and remain available to answer questions as you heal.
Financial Policy
At Iyengar Plastic Surgery, we believe in transparency and want you to feel fully informed about the financial side of your care. Cosmetic procedures are typically not covered by insurance and are considered the patient’s responsibility. We’ll provide a personalized quote after your consultation, outlining all associated costs.
