About the post-op
Following your surgery, Dr. Iyengar remains closely involved in your recovery to ensure optimal healing and results.
Your first post-operative visit is typically scheduled within a few days after the procedure, with additional follow-ups arranged to monitor your progress over the following weeks and months.
At each visit, Dr. Iyengar will assess your healing, answer any questions, and provide guidance on activity restrictions, scar care, and garment use as needed. As mentioned before, he believes in being readily accessible during your recovery and will provide his direct contact information in case any concerns or unexpected issues arise between appointments. His goal is to make sure you feel supported, informed, and confident throughout your healing journey.
